As part of the occasion, which coincided with the imminent America's Cup, AMPROS representatives engaged firsthand with discussions on the ongoing efforts to decarbonize and electrify a substantial portion of the port and its terminals. Moreover, insights into the initiatives spearheaded by the World Ocean Council were shared, highlighting the collaborative efforts to drive sustainability across the maritime industry.

During the event, the IEMA team had the unique opportunity to sail on board SIALIA 57 - Deep Silence, a motor yacht equipped with the innovative AMPROS electric propulsion system.
